Alexander Seesink : Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster, you are right. But as far as i know, this is a ,kleines Patent'/ small patent . This means, a usual patent protects a new product for 20(?) years, but a Gebrauchsmuster is protected only for five years. A protected trademark would be a Schutzmarke or a ,eingetragenes Warenzeichen'.

Jonas Menz : Millions of people died with the hammer and sickle symbol, but it is not fobidden. Note: Hitler wrote ,Mein Kampf', Karl Marx, also a german, wrote ,Das Kapital' which had a large influence for the communism. Also Martin Luther, also a german, caused a church split with 400 years of absolutely unnecessary violence. I do not like all kind of political and religious extremists.

Goat Boy : You are right in many points. When a new movement comes to power, most of the supporters think, it is a good thing. But after some time later the strange things come and when the people realize what happens, it is mostly to late!

What i have forgotten, when it would have been patented, there would be ,DRP' Deutsches Reichspatent'.

Jackson Lewis : Hugo Boss was not the designer, only the manufacturer of the SS uniforms. In those days in the swabian region there had been a lot of textile factories, and for a long time swabian companies had been known as being trustworty makers of good quality products.

Luigi Sergi : I don't know, but the PP means Polizeipistole and was intended for uniformed policemen, customs service officers etc.. The PPk means Polizeipistole kurz ( short) or kriminal ( in this case: for the Kriminalpolizei/ detectves). So the PPK was smaller for cover it in civil suit. Those partyleaders surely carried their pistols sometimes concealed, sometimes open to a uniform. As far as i know, in Germany the .380 Acp/9 mm kurz never was popular , but outside of wartime the .32Acp/ 7,65 Browning was popular from about 1900 up to the 1980s, the last users had been Airforce pilots and police detectives in civilian dress ( especially female officers wearing stylish ladies cloth). But up to the 60s also .25 Acp/6,35 Browning was sometimes used by civilian dressed members of police etc..
