@donwyoming1936 : As a real Revolver for current .22 short with smokeless powder , surely. I am german, Brittas boyfriend for reason of our gunlaw, in Germany only few collectors would buy such a small pistol. But when you watched all of Ians Videos, you may remember the Scheintodrevolver. From ca. 1905 to 2008 you could buy and carry without a CCW licence/ Waffenschein a blankgun. Since 2008 a CCW licence , light ' is necessary, pure buying is still allowed ( but German Gouvernement tries to end this). Currently those pistols are made of zinc alloy, with few steel parts, to make it difficult , to transform a blankgun into a .25/.32 gun.
Most of this pistols are , lookalikes' of modern designs for 9mm PAK ( semiauto) or 9mm R for revolvers. But: Sometimes you find strange constructions for cartidge 6mm Flobert, a cartidge produced since 1840s. Basicly grandfather of .22 short, rimfire , no powder charge, only primer. In this 6mm Rimfire Flobert there had been, no more in production, lookalikes of Remington/ Sharps and singleshot Derringers, and NAA minirevolvers. Of course: For selfdefence this 6mm Flobert blankpistols are useless, both with blanks or ( If still produced) with teargas loads. But for Theater/ Reenactors perhaps usefull.
The 9mm blankguns , firing blanks, extraloud blanks, flash blanks and CS/ Pepper cartidges are perhaps usefull to scare dogs or unarmed or not very brave persons.
