  2.  @topguntin  : For german 11,15x 60 ( blackpowder) a ,Wachpatrone/ guard cartridge existed, contained two round balls instead of one long projectile. In 8x 57 lS i don' t know. A sidenote : German police forces also used ( new or surplus i don' t know) rifles arround 1950. There was the socalled ,coffee war' along dutch- german border. Coffee smugling was a problem, and some of the smugglers used partly light armoured trucks.

  4.  @sjaakzwart6001  : At first, Britta is my girlfriend, i only use her computer also. At first, we germans have a saying: Wie man in den Wald hineinschreit, so hallt es zurück. My english is not so good: The way you shout into the forrest, the echoe comes back. So i had never problems with police or private security guards. The only time i had problems with police, was my own fault, i used my car being drunken. So it is possible , to have no problems with police and justice. For about 40years i hear leftwingers whining: Oh , we didn' t care about laws and order, and the terrible bad police is so bad against us best people of human history. Your fault, yours, not fault of others. I hate people, who don' t respect law and order for political or religious reason , and then cry, when they are in trouble. Especially leftwingers allways think, laws are a thing for other people, but not for us ethical/ moralist, political/ correct noblehumans.

  6.  @ikwer111  : Up to 1980s/ early 90s german paramilitary policeforces ( Bundesgrenzschutz of Federal Republik and Bereitschaftspolizei of german states) had assault rifles, machineguns, handgrenades and Bundesgrenzschutz only , few antiaircraft - and antitankweapons for wartime.
