This pistols had been also noted by german weapons magazine Deutsches Waffenjournal or Visier. May be you can get information from those german magazines. In the article was noted , that this pistols had been often given to high officers of russian forces as official present/ gift.

Being german, i write Pistole, when there is a necessarity to speak Standard German i also speak Pistole. But usually i speak swabian dialect ,Bischdool'. In some dialects P becomes B, K becomes G and T becomes D. And sp and st are mostly, but not allways ,spoken schp and scht in Standard German, Pistole is one of the exeptions.

@zbigniewgurak8261 : When i was a little child, i only knew my dialect. One day i got a childrens book with many pictures of Farm annimals, i knew the annimals, because my parents and some neighbors had little farms. But when my grandmother took the noted book and told Stories about the annimals, I thougt, why does my grandmother speak so strange? She read the Texts to the pictures, this was the First time, I noticed, that there are two variants of german language: The unregulated dialects and regulated Standard German/ Hochdeutsch. Today most german people speak either a watered down dialect or Standard German mixed with dialect words. The number of real dialect speakers is declining rather fast, while the number of Standard German speakers is rising fast, especially in large Towns. Some months ago i was at a Gas Station, the Young Lady didn' t understand me speaking dialect, and the older lady working there had to explain.
