 @alexandruraresdatcu : Umarex produces socalled Freizeit airguns, which means, not intended for target/ competition shooters. Umarex was founded to sell things, licencefree in Germany.

@jnievele : This loophole/Gesetzeslücke is closed in Germany. Such weapons need currently a licence, persons, who bought this before law change, have now a problem. They now never can sell it to other persons.

In some german collections ( museums or castles/ palaces of former nobility) you can see Windbüchsen / literally wind rifles, which had been able to kill small game, and have been produced before 1800. By current law no more allowed for hunting. And arround 1800 a small unit of Austrian Jäger was equipped with repeating Windbüchsen, Napoleon banned them personaly.

@jnievele : In some german collections airguns apperar, which are simply stocked blow guns ( Blasrohre) and at location of gunlock there is a mouth/ lips tube.
