@charliewenthe4411 : I am german, and i think, i know , what i write. Fritz is short of Friedrich, Heinz is a short of Heinrich, Ulrich is a short of Huldrich, Klaus/ Klaas is a short of Nikolaus, Willi/ Wilhelm, Bernd/ Bernhard, Siggi/ Siegfried, Siegbert, Sieghard, Sigurd, Ekki, Ecki/ Eggebrecht, Eckbert, Eckhard, Ekkehard. So Nazi was simply a short of Ignaz. In wwl Nazi was simply a nickname for austrian soldiers. Note: During wwl the NSDAP did not exist! So in 1920s the use of Nazi changed from , Austrian Soldier' to member of NSDAP.
And Ignaz Eisele, an austrian bandleader, was known as Nazi Eisele only for reason of his name.
