A question from a german viewer of this channel, has nothing to do with this video. In english language barrel can mean the barrel of a firearm (in german Lauf or, very oldfashioned, Rohr) or a container for fluids, for example wine or beer ( in german Fass). Has this the following reason ? In middle age cannon barrels cold be produced by casting melted bronce /brass like churchbells or a blacksmith hammered/welded iron rods to a tube/pipe and strengthened it with iron rings. Winebarrels had been produced the same way, but of course of wooden planks and not iron rods. Can someone answer?
