I come from Württemberg , nowadays a part of the german state Baden - Württemberg. My father, born 1938, told me, that when he was a child, there was a man called ,der Mauser' , his , not fulltime, job was to hunt a special type of mice ( Wühlmäuse) with traps, and to give other persons advice, how to do so.
