  1. Few people know, that also the bavarian army fielded two batteries of the ,Feldl- Kartätschgeschütz'. It had four barrels, and as far as i know, it was made by the still existing Eberhard company, a factory for ploughs and agricultural devices.

  2.  @Ignonym  : In german language Gewehr up to 18th century could mean every kind of weapon ( Seitengewehr is a bayonnet). Since 19th century Gewehr means in military context ,full length battlerifle' in civilian context it is the umbrella term for rifles ( Büchsen), shotguns (Flinten) and combination guns ( Büchsflinten, Drillinge/ Vierlinge).
