You missed the Big One: how can Black Holes exist yet the Big Bang would start off as the biggest Black Hole of all Creation? If even light can't get out of a Black Hole how could all of the mass of the Universe ever expand outwards? The other problem usually skipped past is that truly distant galaxies are not in our Universe, they are in the Universe of the Past. We're looking at the physics of a bygone age. Everything points to it being different than the physics we can test around us. See point #1 above. Lastly, we can't see what we can't see: what is Dark and what is Whited out. The CMB whites out every event further back in time. Dead stars emit so little radiation we can never spot them. There figure to be as many dead stars as those currently visible, probably a LOT more. Our sun is a slow burner. MOST stars are very, very much faster. The Universe we witness today consists of slow burners and recent start-ups. This means that we can't even quite trust what we see, hence the appeal to Dark Matter.
