  1. Her analytical impulse is of fbase -- from the start. It has always been the case that you MUST go after the root & branch of Putin's war machine. Period. It's obvious that Putin was going to bob and weave his way around any and ALL direct sanctions aimed his way. His refineries should've ALWAYS been at the top of the list as economic targets -- no different than those of Adolf, 85-yeas ago. OIL & Gas were always his money spinners.
