Put shortly, Putin contends that the fall of the Soviet empire in 1991 was the WORST event in the 20th Century. So, Just skip the end of the Russian Empire, 1917 -- WWI... WWII & The Great Patriotic War -- the fall of the Iron Curtain 1989, Spanish Flu (1917-1921) the Pacific War 1931-1945 the partition of India (1947-1948) the incredible sequence of wars in Africa -- nothing else was significant. Only Putin's dream-history counts. Like Adolf, Stalin, Tojo, et al, this is all WAY beyond logic. So, stop using logic when discussing Putin's ambit. It's not 'greed' as so commonly said. Like Adolf, it's a cross between coveting a dream and bitter resentment when that dream is ruined.

( Glide Bombs do so also. ) Next: the Mother Plane carries a radio transmitter that EXTENDS the range of the Kamikazi drones -- a LOT -- And: the Mother Plane carries much better optics such as night vision -- and the Mother Plane has a greater operational height -- Meaning: that the Mother Plane can attack Russian deep penetration drones of all types -- behind Ukrainian front lines + even helicopters, too. The Ukrainians really have a game-changer here. I would recommend that this scheme be used in Low Light Warfare. (Dawn/Dusk/Bad weather) The Kamikazi drones can use smaller batteries, go for less expense/ more of them per Mother flight. It's ESSENTIAL that the Lancet threat be neutralized -- PDQ. Way too many key Ukrainian assets are at risk from Lancet.
