  1. We already know that the Earth would be radioactive north to south if it went hot. The First World would destroy the Second world -- and vice versa. BTW, the Cold War IS WWIII. You're just a couple of decades behind the nomenclature. We're in WWIV RIGHT NOW. Duh.
