@jpjpjp453 The USN carriers were able to carry about three-times as many as the RN. Their opponent also used wooden planking. The aircraft count, per deck, was absolutely decisive. The USN couldn't adopt the RN solution until their carriers became huge... real budge busters, too. But, with enough wallet, the USN built world beaters that continue to last for decades. So, they pencil out.

@myvictory8294 You ..... Putin invaded the Donbass with his KGB/GRU/FSB proxy army. This was so obvious that it was commented upon then and there. Plenty of video to watch, if you can bear it. Then the two warring sides kept shooting at each other -- pretty much ever since Putin's proxy invasion. The Minsk accords (I&II) never took flight -- as they required the shooting to stop. This never happened. More generally, Putin has abandoned treaties, agreements and diplomacy. He's gone Adolf.

@myvictory8294 Putin never holds to treaties or agreements. I believe that this tic is relevant to current events. Putin was the guy telling the whole world that Russia had no intention of invading -- that his domestic armies were just in training... hence, they were not a topic for international discussion... so he won't.

The Talking Heads need to shut up and let Trent continue his tale.

@myvictory8294 Good grief. Try virtually every Talking Head in the MSM at the time. Talk about an open secret. Now, years after the event, Russians slyly admit that Putin was vexed that his KGB/FSB boys didn't capture even more Donbass turf. The conclusion of the Moscow Big Brains was that the next time, (as in 'now') more blatant military muscle would be most wise. And so it has been brought to bear.

@myvictory8294 The Budapest agreement was that the UK, US, and Russia mutually agreed to protect Ukraine from invasion if that nation gave up its old Soviet atomic warheads. Check out current events.

@myvictory8294 Rhetorical queries don't expect a response, certainly don't require a response. They are obviously loaded statements pitched as queries. I must bless your humble nic. /s Get serious. Try something less narcissistic. Good grief.

@pleasantville4529 The Russian's stuff is better than the Ukrainian's stuff. MUCH better. It's the morale of the Russian troops that's rotten. Ukraine is their brother country. They were lied to.

@johnlopez1604 Nope. This is Putin's A-team. Look at his own shock and anger at the results. Now he's lashing out at oligarchs and the FSB/KGB. Just wow! A purge is coming -- soon.

@thesquatchdoctor3356 We tried that twice: Afghanistan and Iraq. But the locals didn't even recognize what such a thing was.
