  1. My long ago business partner told totally unnecessary lies -- "just to stay in practice." He WAS slick. He was pathological -- and quite successful -- at lying. Not so much anything else. Informing his next victims of his deceptions proved fruitless. To a man, they all concluded that I was the liar, and pretty wicked, too. When reality struck, to a man, they could no longer face me. Everything I'd laid out unfolded as predicted. That's how slick a practiced liar can be. He should've gone into religion or politics.
