  1. You missed one big event. Havocs in Soviet service turned back 1st Panzer Army in the Summer/ Autumn of 1942. They were the first really decent twin engined attack plane they had. And they were generously instrumented, compared to other machines. The Soviet pilots absolutely raved about them. They even came with radios! ( The Soviets were in radio tube crisis at the time. )
