  1. Bombers are flying TRUCKS. They function as flying missile carriers. That's why a B-52 is still relevant. It's never going to be used where the enemy can touch it. In this they'll fly like tankers and AWACS. The Soviet turbo-props figure to be used in the same way. They can carry a HUGE anti-ship missile among others.
