Option 4: The OTHER repressed nations inside the Russian Empire (aka Federation) revolt -- knowing that THEIR boys are the ones being thrown into the fire -- knowing that the RA can't do a thing about their revolt -- it's tied up in Ukraine. Putin can't use nukes to put down civil unrest inside his own borders. I'd put Chechnya at the top of the revolt standings.

  6. Not really... Putin has run out of INFANTRY. It's infantry that holds river lines. The RA thought that they could thin out their river line defense BECAUSE it was on a river. But drone warfare means that everything you do is spotted. The UA just exploited a RA withdrawal -- the moment it appeared.

  7. Actually, Zelenskyy is going to liberate Crimea even before Donbass. It's the dynamics of military action. Across history, anytime a power controls the Isthmus of Perekop from the north -- the whole peninsula goes. Crimea is so DRY that it must de-populate without Dnipro water.
