  2. TRD, Trump and Musk are LOSING money in a Major Way. They are operating out of noble sentiments. There are no bribes, honors, fame that you can use to influence them. They simply have everything right now. There are legions of detractors -- resentfuls -- who WOULD be, often have, been open to corruption in every form. They hate both. Evil resents nobility... it really HATES it. I've seen this phenomenon destroy people -- from the inside out. Trump's larger thinking is that he can't allow Russia to fall -- so that Red China (Xi) absorb Siberia. With that event, the USA would be in VERY serious trouble. As it stands, Xi can't do a damn thing. The USN sits atop his fuel link. But with Siberia in hand, Putin gets his wealth actually from Siberia, not Russia, there would be nothing to restrain Xi. Xi covets Siberia, not Taiwan. And he can't say so. Taiwan is a propaganda dodge... misdirection.
