  2. I'm allergic to Yellow Dye #5 -- everyone should test themselves. This adulterant is found in mustard, beers (not European).... Budweiser is so loaded with Yellow -- it astounds. Why? When it's in a glass, it enhances its look. It's banned all over because so many, many people are super allergic to it. It adds nothing to the beer or mustard, taste wise.

  3. Every industry simply captures its regulators, one way or another. This tic is why defense contractors are repeatedly caught giving goodies to the folks having signature authority. And it's not just the defense sector. Telecoms, and Big Media MASSIVELY fund the private lives of their regulators. After you leave government, your industry puts you on the Board of Directors... or hires you as a consultant. Clinton's Treasury Secretary was hired at $100,000 a month -- for years on end. He had an office -- beautiful -- that he never entered. (!) This all happened after he left the Treasury. Likewise, high officials were hired by mortgage banks the moment they stepped 'down.'
