  1. Clever, in an academic sense, but otherwise useless twaddle. Putin has more than enough finks -- especially digital -- and battlefield losses are trivial by historical Russian standards. The oligarchs are not even in the equation -- and they've lost their juice, too. Why even bring them up ? Putin's primary threat comes from his own crew -- the KGB/FSB. They are totally riven with finks... paralyzed. The crowd physically close to Vlad think exactly like Vlad. Why take the plunge when your own policy suite is identical ? It's proven easy for Putin to pick off independent thinkers. Like Stalin, he's wrapped himself with toadies. Putin is going to die of old age. No Western government dares even sponsor a rival.
