You're trolling us. There is only one outcome when you sent one BB and one CC against the largest navy in the world. There was NO WAY that the RN wouldn't be vectoring every heavy asset against Bismarck. She never should've been built. The ONE thing that Bismarck could've done for the Nazis was shell Leningrad and its Gulf of Finland protection fort. (at its mouth) The fall of Leningrad would've had huge strategic results -- not the least of which would've been a big cure for Nazi logistics in the Northern USSR, the death of the Baltic Fleet of the USSR and the release of two-panzer corps during mid-Barbarossa. After the loss of Leningrad, there was the real prospect of taking the rail link of Ark-angel in 1942... eliminating British convoys to the North.
