One should keep in mind that Red China's PR problem that 'triggered' the CCP is about to change. It's now very, very obvious (Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists) that Wuhan was engaged in Dr. Fauci's favorite gambit: Gain of Function. What has happened was foreseen by Hollywood: it's the plot of Mission Impossible II. Strangely, that plot largely focused on Australia. That film also focused on "Gain of Function." This is a euphemism for crafting the worst imaginable diseases in a lab so that a counter-cure can also be crafted. In the film, the villain releases the virus into Australia. Well, the CCP released their virus into the whole world. Soon, Australia's principled politicians will be drowned out in the up-roar as Beijing will no longer be able to use Dr. Fauci et. al to deflect the blame that is their due. BTW, the reason that Australia does so much 'exclusive' business with Red China is PRICE. The USA has no problem supplying Australia with all the fertilizer she needs... etc. Lastly, many of the mentioned inputs are then used to export goods right back to Red China. That's why it is extremely unlikely that Beijing will ever embargo plant fertilizers. And, on balance, Red China is a HUGE importer of fertilizers. What Australians must fear is the corruption of their political elites. The CCP is doing so world-wide. No democracy is safe.
