  1. The Bretton Woods financial scheme IS the way that NATO, et. al fund the US DoD. It's a loopy scheme that eludes virtually all of the smart guys, but it devolves down to the critical need for other nations to accept, year after year, immense amounts of US Dollars so as to sustain their own currencies. This flow is ENTIRELY sufficient to fund the US DoD, which is why it then becomes no burden to US taxpayers... not withstanding appearances.
