  1. They are being shut down by politics -- by popular delusions -- and the madness of crowds. It is true that many atomic plants were very poorly sited. The video is quite incorrect on its core point. Most of NYC's juice comes from James Bay in Canada. Yes, it's hydro-power from the Great White North.
