  17. It was obviously true on its face. There was NO WAY that a bat related virus could ever come out of a fish market that NEVER, EVER permitted non-fish foods to enter its space. The Chinese have dedicated markets for bats, monkeys, and such. They don't have grocery stores in the Western style. The operate more like Japan and Korea. One goes here and there to get what you want. Europe is the same way. Bakers have their own shops, Green grocers have their shops, Butchers have their own shops -- all of this is real Old School food retailing. North America is the real outlier. And not one of them wants to be pinned down making a fulsomely false statement that will come back and bite. All remember Chamberlain's "Peace in our Time" gaff. In ten-months, Adolf was on a roll. And Bush's "Mission Accomplished." The irony is that the NAVY put up that banner -- as the CVN's mission WAS accomplished. The Bush White House did NOT put up that sign. Bush foolishly let himself be photographed giving a major speech under it!  The Press beat him up over it... for years running.

Many, many things are true, but can't be introduced into evidence. Here say evidence is a perfect example. It can -- and often is -- completely true and truthful. It can't be taken into evidence. Of course, USSC are LOADED with political weight. Chief Justice Roberts famously wrote both sides of the Obamacare ruling! Now that was weird.  He'd changed his mind mid-way through the decision process, and he was the swing vote.) BTW, ANY general contractor-developer is destined to go to court rather constantly. The vast number of Trump lawsuits that shock the general public -- don't raise an eyebrow by his peers. He's got big pockets, and thus is a magnet for attorneys. Overwhelmingly, they just want a payday. Apple, MSFT, Google, FaceBook are sued CONSTANTLY. Sometimes the plaintiffs are international bodies, the figures VAST. It's the way of the world at that end of the pool. Trump is nothing special.

  28.  todd long  Actually, the courts -- all of them -- HATE being drawn into election results issues.  Jumping in is a great way for an elected judge to be tossed off his bench at the next election. On top of that, it is usually the case that legally permitted evidence is not to hand -- so soon after an election. THIS is the primary reason why the cases figure to be tossed. The other reason is that plaintiffs don't have legal standing to sue. Legally only the candidate is deemed to have standing, him and his campaign.  A TON of 2020 suits were initiated by others... and so... they got tossed out. Consequently, you can't read anything into the court's decision. It's purely a technicality.

(It's not possible to turn them back on, they must be re-drilled to restart them. Putin needs the West to do that work; his boys can't.) The international price of oil has just exploded because this option is now priced in. Four million barrels a day is very impressive -- but is only 4% of global flow. The market is bigger than Putin. He's in such dire straits that he's called up levée en masse -- and denied that he's done so. Shoigu's spiel was astounding -- and not given the proper press exposure. Putin is losing as I type. He's setting the preconditions for Revolution. Putin can't equip the 300,000 bullet stoppers he's just called up. Putin has burned through virtually all of his premier military assets, hence his deployment of T-62 tanks -- even at the front! Putin is in no position to utterly ruin Ukraine -- as its SAM defenses are ramping up -- and his air force is running low on missiles. Putin HAS ruined every inch of Ukraine that his boys have occupied. Putin has lost all of his so-called allies. India and Red China are running away from him. Putin has been humiliated on the international stage... which means a LOT to any autocrat. Putin has exhausted his general ranks. So, his officer corps is not happy with him. He's down to goons and truncheons. NATO is not fighting Putin. Putin will stop when he's run out of resources -- and he's just about there -- right now.

Xi has taken Red China into a Depression... not a Recession. A Depression is defined by a credit contraction that is centered around real estate and construction lending -- going into contraction. A Recession is defined by a credit contraction that is centered around manufactures and inventory lending -- going into contraction. Do NOT conflate the two based on the severity of the contraction. Depressions are so wicked because of their LENGTH. 1920-21 the US suffered an intense Recession as industry finally unwound from WWI spending and government-centered economic organization. The nation rebounded into the Roaring Twenties. 1930-1939 the US suffered an intense Depression as real estate lending and industrial build-out massively contracted. Even clearing inventories was insufficient. Red China is facing a decade of real estate credit contraction... a Depression. No foreign real estate financing will occur in the echo of Evergrande & Coy. As the years roll by, the whole world will come to grieve. Japan went through this starting in 1989. It took the 19th Century for Russia to reach the Pacific.
