  1. All waters close to Red China are pretty shallow. So the only question is how quickly the USN can get its stuff in place. In the meantime, figure on the carrier task force hovering around so as to make it impossible for the PLAN to function.

  2.  @lebaoliu9038  It's called a sea because it's so shallow. It's littered with islands, too. The USN has assets all over: Japan, Okinawa, Guam... The PLAN is not practiced in deep salvage. The US has been doing it for decades.
