In an extermination-labor camp you suffered for two-weeks and then were murdered, being utterly destroyed, physically. My Uncle survived the extermination-labor camp that produced the V-2, V-1 -- called Dora. I believe, for all kinds of reasons, that he was the sole survivor of Dora. The SS simply murdered all of the labor force before the American Army could liberate them. My Uncle had been moved to Buchenwald's 'hospital' -- which is why and how he survived. He was to be traded for Goering and Himmler's skins, along with 99,999 other souls.
