  10. The insulation WEIGHS. So more poles would have to be installed -- immediately. The ground is ROCK -- just inches below the surface. That's why the change over is skipping spots. It's due to the local soil situation -- not PG&E. They need a new crew and different equipment. It's probably being scheduled right now.

  11. Ground conditions out there are brutal. You can't get away with a 'plow.' (That gizmo seen in the video. It's not a farm plow.) Hard rock exists only inches below ground most of the time. An entirely different crew with different equipment is required. This all looks like a temporary fix -- and a surprise for PG&E. The short poles belong to the telephone company. PG&E can't disturb those lines. The phone company will have to send out a crew, themselves.

  16.  @JoelRyanQuinn  The top held the POWER lines, the lower pole held the phone lines/ cable company. So, they moved their own stuff over, and chopped merely the top off. (To get it out of the way.) You can figure that more work is scheduled. PG&E will have to come back. Underground rock stopped them this time. It's brutal. I speak from direct experience.

  30.  @CharlesVanNoland  The WHOLE system is run by the Political Elites. Competing Commercial Interests then fund/plea with them to gain advantage. The Politicals own the court system -- they are usually attorneys, don't cha know. This means that they also control the guns and the prisons. Which filthy rich Capitalist can make THAT claim? Businessmen are RARELY lawyers. Rather, they have to pay attorneys -- just to win at the game.
