@laurencesmith2199 Ammo has been making it to the front all along.
WWII proved that it's practically impossible to knock out a railroad. Repairs happen so quickly.
Ukraine's rail grid (that counts) is far outside the range of artillery -- even rocket artillery. Putin has to use the really expensive stuff to target deep into Ukraine. And such weapons are not in great supply.
Closer to the front, the stuff is just moved around in everything from trucks to backpacks. You laugh, but in WWII, the Soviets famously forced every soldier to hump a 76mm artillery shell along with the rest of his kit as he marched to the front. Yes, this system worked.
The scary thing about the US Army's MLRS is that it was designed from the ground up to destroy Soviet conventional tube artillery. It showed to the Iraqis, decades ago, that it sure does its job well. After the first volleys, the boys just fled, en masse -- officers, too.
Within two-weeks, the RA will not be able to use most of its artillery.
With no infantry, no tanks, no APCs, and no artillery -- Putin will no longer be able to push west. The UA will simply infiltrate at night, and then the RA will begin to crack.
