@user-xz4all He's an automatic winner. Duh.

@markotoshich7676 You are factually wrong. Moldova is even poorer.

@cherylpatton1977 Ukraine never qualified -- nor was NATO membership even in prospect. That was why Paris and Berlin were stunned when Putin pushed it as an issue. All other nations in the alliance have to approve of a new member. Germany and France always nixed Ukraine. They functioned as Putin's proxies in this regard. No candidate nation can have an open border dispute... least of all with Russia. Putin made sure that Georgia and Ukraine did have open border disputes -- by invading them. EU membership for Ukraine is just as much in vain. With membership, Germany and France would have to send boatloads of Euros into Zelenskyy's nation. Supporting Greece, Spain, Italy and Poland are enough on their plates. (I left off some names.)

The CIA didn't give stuff to bin Laden. He actually tried to kidnap and ransom CIA agents -- right out of the box. He was wealthy enough to fund his own micro-army. He got funds from his step-brothers, too. (True, but denied.)

@dangoldring146 It's not an EU decision. It's a NATO decision. The top commander in NATO is an American general... always.

Poland would be BUYING the F-16s. The big issue: Warsaw wants new planes -- the ones currently pledged to Taiwan -- as it turns out. Warsaw does not want to wait.

And what of Putin's invasion ?

@ronsexton3685 Minsk (I & II) were dead letters. Neither side ever stopped shelling -- a requirement for said deals to take effect. They were also dead letters because by their structure, Putin was supposed to cleave off a hunk of Ukraine -- for no cost to himself. Even so, Putin could not bear to obey Minsk provisions. He's a chronic murderer of Moscow journalists. (Safety tip: stay off of high-rise balconies.) He's a thug, a gangster. Period. He's also stolen more wealth than any man in history. I'll grant him that. And now he's purging Russian elites -- Stalin 2.0 style. What a guy. /s

@annashepidchenko1908 That's nothing. We've got Biden.

@ronsexton3685 Stop. Kyiv gave Moscow Sevastopol for ONE ruble per year -- rent -- a 99-year lease, Yeah, the same kind of lease that China gave Great Britain for Hong Kong. When it ended, Britain sent its Crown Prince to cough it up. BTW, Sevastopol is TOO small for a modern navy. Other than the fig leaf of its flag. Moscow has moved is real fleet to "Novorossiysk. (Russian: Новоросси́йск, It is a city in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It is the largest port on the Black Sea." It's southeast of the Sea of Azov. It's close to Sochi and Russia's Black Sea oil export terminals. Watch "The World is Not Enough" (Bond) to comprehend all of this. Yes, everything in a work of fiction is playing out before us -- right now. (Nostra-Bond-us?) Heh. As for Zelenskyy, Crimea is a throw-away concession. It's worthless land -- since without Dnieper water it's horse grazing land. Yes. That's what it was for the Tsars. Zelenskyy is already willing to cough up the 'Russian' Donbass. ( ALL of that Russian DNA was 'imported' by Stalin after he murdered millions. (See: Holodomor) The primary reason for the fanatical Ukrainian defense: the Holodomor.... and the USSR. (Ukrainians could not be Soviet officers. Yup! They were relegated to non-commissioned officer status... usually in tanks. (You must see the irony. BTW, have you noticed that the MSM hasn't a clue about relevant history?) Study up !

The USAF has chronically revamped and up-graded the F-16. (block by block) This makes dating and rating no easy thing to do.

Putin told the whole world that there was no WAY that he'd invade. Then, he invaded.
1
The Migs would be a NATO transfer. This is what Putin desires the most: to re-frame his project into a war by Russia against NATO. Duh.
1
@Evangeliser But NATO, per se, is not involved. Putin WANTS his war of volition to be against NATO -- not against this or that NATO nation. Putin needs to pitch to his nation that NATO is attacking Russia -- not that he's decided to simply attack NATO. If the latter, he'd be shot as insane.
1
@bessarion1771 Poland wanted new production machines. Who could blame them? Poland was willing to pay, too. The Big Problem is per the video. ~30 Migs can't have any material impact on the flow of the fighting -- even if they could stay in the sky. Mig 29s are notorious hangar queens = need constant repairs. That's what's holding down Ukraine's sortie rate even now.
1
It's happening.
1
Putin and the Media don't comprehend what Switch-blades will do.
1
@TheLeftRbabieskillers Just exactly who is 'he'?
1
@24juan68 Factually incorrect. BTW, Migs are designed expressly to operate from straight sections of paved highway/ freeway. Hence air strips are not in the equation.
1
@michals2000 Wrong. The damage comes from artillery -- tube and rocket. Artillery shells are cheap versus bombs and missiles.
1
@jasonsmith3202 They didn't. Putin assured the entire planet that Russia was not going to invade. Then he invaded. BTW, Putin is losing his war. Smart silicon brilliantly beats steel armor.
1
@jasonsmith3202 Russia is against this war. It's Putin's war. It does nothing but harm Russia.
1
@jasonsmith3202 Nope. They didn't choose war. Putin owns his war. It's all his. The reason the Russian Army looks so stupid: Putin lied to his generals. They planned for a mere training exercise. Everything would've been different if he'd leveled with them. His lies are the sole reason the troops headed off with merely three-days worth of food rations. He's the primary reason that the Russian Army was not ready. Of course, he's blaming everybody but himself. His purge of the FSB/KGB and Army has just begun. Putin screws up -- so everyone else is in genuine fear for their lives.
1
@jasonsmith3202 Nope. It's Putin's war. He faked out his own FSB and Military. That's why they look so stupid. If given the heads-up, his generals would've dialed in all of the supplies, etc. required. Putin is the sole reason that his boys have only three-days food rations. This provision is typical for mere exercises -- but not war. It's all on Putin. He's having to deal with it.
1
@jasonsmith3202 You can't blame Biden. He doesn't even know what's going on. He's a sock puppet. He's a puppet run by committee, too. That's why he's late on every decision -- in every instance -- domestic or foreign. You can't blame Zelenskyy for defending Ukraine's sovereignty. That's the default position of all national leaders. Putin refuses to negotiate with him. Putin's goal is assassination, instead. Putin's goal is conquest. He wrote why in great length. Then he rambled on in front of his TV cameras before the whole world. Boy, that was strange. You must blame Putin for throwing away diplomacy. He was on track to get a START style treaty massively restricting NATO missiles. He ditched it. Warsaw, London, Berlin and Paris were simply stunned. You should check out how he humiliated his toadies, collectively and individually -- right before he invaded. He left the head of his FSB stuttering like a school boy. Vlad was on cloud nine, of course. The entire crew was visibly terrified, of course. Check it out, yourself. It's a hoot.
