  1. They missed the Big Event. Putin is alienated from his oligarchs. In his most recent outburst -- he went out of his way to denigrate ALL of them. Plainly, Putin no longer sees them as being his truly loyal toadies. This, together with his attacks on the FSB, indicate that his stool is losing its legs. His outburst was so intense, one must conclude that his paranoia is ramping to the Moon. And obviously, his crew is freaking out, too. None want to walk the plank.
