@littlebob1261 Veteran of the NATIONAL GUARD. He never deployed. (!!!) He did take some 30 trips to Red China -- the vacation wonderland. It's a weird stat, I know.

@Jarod-vg9wq Absolutely NOT. Fred wouldn't even co-invest with Donald in Manhattan -- the true core of the Trump Empire. It's impossible to inherit when Daddy is still alive -- for years to come. Donald was a billionaire by the late 70s. Donald's empire began by way of a very friendly Purchase Money Mortgage taken back by Fred. This debt backed the transfer of two aged-out apartment complexes in Queens. Donald immediately rolled up his sleeves and re-habbed them... unit by unit. Under New York law, Donald was allowed to re-rent such units (tenants had died) at MARKET rates. Zoom, zoom, Donald was in the chips. This nest egg -- and his credit rating -- allowed him to buy Manhattan (major) properties at the BOTTOM of the New York market. (Again, these were OLD buildings -- losing all of their tenants.) Donald used super leverage (OPM) and re-rented his first Manhattan project as New York rose from the ashes. (1975 era crisis -- get a history book for the necessary detail.) Over night Donald was worth $150,000,000. (!!!) THIS was how he hit every thing right. Under New York wealth transfer law -- it's IMPOSSIBLE to gift big money to your kin. The taxes become prohibitive confiscation. No-one ever does it.
