  1. It's ALWAYS been crumbling -- and always will be. America drains out virtually all of the design life of its infrastructure -- until things break. Look at the Golden Gate Bridge. It's already beyond its design life -- and so its design life has been re-cast. This philosophy is why we have Big Plumbing that's under our streets -- going on about eighty-years between replacement. BTW, EVERY new administration promises to address infrastructure spending -- which is HUGELY dominated by the opinions of CONGRESS. It's something that no president really has much say about. Get over it.
