This is obvious because of her clothing -- and from her story. BTW, she was coming down off of drugs -- of course. That obvious aspect can't be admitted to, as it would trash her 'tragedy' storyline.

  10. The 'limerance' described flows directly from the theology of the Cathars -- a 1,000 years ago -- in France. The Catholic Church exterminated such heretics, of course. But their notions have carried on all the same -- via poetic yarns -- the King Arthur Legend being close to the top. Don Quixote and his quest is of such a nature. This is the first fiction novel, to boot.
