  1. The OP is astonishingly WRONG on U235 concentrations. He's obviously NEVER sat in class -- or read a book on Thorium. His presentation does not even make it up to WRONG.

  2. Thorium is a DEAD END. It's fertile -- not fissile. So you're really talking about a U-233, or Uranium, reactor. Billions were thrown at it over decades -- and both the US & USSR gave up at virtually the same time. Both programs ran on and on -- because the OTHER country had a Thorium reactor program.
