  1. So wrong, where to begin? Helium is in crisis. Yes, it's already highly restricted. There is no way on Earth that there is enough helium to sustain this fantasy. Airships will HAVE to use hydrogen. But, if that's true, why use airships at all? Jet aircraft of semi-conventional design could easily shift over to methane or hydrogen fuels -- and be quite economic, too. A tremendous fraction of the launch mass of any jet aircraft is carbon -- in its kerosene fuel. This can be quickly dropped by switching to methane ( thank you Musk ) or going all the way to hydrogen. ANY helium based technology is a dead letter. It can't scale up.
