  3. @Paul Wolf It never worked out that way -- unless the civilians could be set to work miles and miles into the rear. The UA has a blended approach. It inducts civilians into its ranks and has the new troops dig trenches. See how that works?

  4. The initial Russian surge down south is now considered to be due to treason. None of the prewar defensive steps were actually followed. Zelenskyy has had to purge a LOT of traitors. Some have the IQ of a bread box -- using their cell phones in treason. No need to interrogate -- their phone records are damning in the extreme. ( Uploading classified photos to the Web, etc. )

  5. @Paul Wolf Yes, 20% of the locals (within Kherson) identify as Russian. 75% identify as Ukrainian... ~ then the rest. This goes a long way towards explaining all of the civil protests right in the center of Kherson.
