  1. Strictly speaking Red China does not have concentration camps -- they have Re-education Camps."  These fuse all of the hells of traditional concentration camps with hectoring and brainwashing. That is, they absolutely do not leave you alone -- until you've had the total 1984 experience.  It's the Hectoring that survivors can't stop. talking about. They hate that even more than the lousy prison conditions.
