  2.  @bzm777  A well armed Mexico is no threat to the USA. A well armed Ukraine is no threat to Russia. NATO membership was never in prospect for Ukraine -- until Putin invaded Ukraine. Both Germany and France were entirely opposed -- and their vetoes count. Ditto for Ukraine getting into the EU. The day that such a thing happens, Berlin and Paris and Brussels will owe billions of euros each year as a cross-subsidy. Right now, Spain, Portugal and Greece are costing plenty enough. (Getting out of this subsidy scheme was a major, major motivator for Brexit.) Lastly, NATO, per se, never does anything much. It certainly is not ever involved in revolutions. The instigator of the Maidan revolution was George Soros. He's out to subvert every government in the world -- except that of Jerusalem. (He's a devout atheist.) His financial fingerprints and much more were all over it. He fled Hungary in 1956 -- and still has a hard on for Moscow. The CIA couldn't co-ordinate a church social. Yes, it's THAT inept -- with many a tale to prove it.
