  1. Many of the ancient borders can't really be pinned down -- and even then -- much of the land was desert -- grazing land at best. One thing is obvious, when you put all of the legends together, Mt Sinai of legend was in Saudi Arabia. Moses HAD to get away from Ramses II -- which required him to exit all of Sinai as we know it today. Many of the Biblical events and locations are now known to be totally phony. Jericho was destroyed by an earthquake -- ten centuries before the Hebrews showed up. There is a massive fault right next to it, and Sodom too, which is the geological source of the Dead Sea, even the Red Sea.
