  1. PZ, you're dreaming. Absolutely no army ever burns itself down to the last man at a strategic level. That only happens, occasionally, at a tactical level. The RA is at a breaking point because its equipment splendor is collapsing -- even with its paratroops. The Big Issue is whether the economic damage of Putin's power plant campaign is sufficient to break Ukraine. But since defeat = death --- and Ukraine can and will be supplied from the West --- Putin's dominion is bleeding out against die-hards. Putin has de-housed millions of Russians. He's sitting on a powder keg -- pre-revolutionary conditions.
