  1. "Rare Earths" are a diplomatic dodge. Trump wants to get Ukraine back into the Natural Gas business. NG is exactly what triggered the 2014 invasion into Crimea. The easiest stuff was just off shore. Right now, NG there is capped off. Putin does not want Ukrainian gas competition.
