  1. PZ Clue #1 -- Putin has ALREADY restricted refined product exports. He has lost his prior market -- which ALWAYS was Europe. In normal situations, gasoline and middle distillate don't travel half-way around the globe, just a few thousand miles would do. International crude prices trade independently from refined prices -- though the reverse is not true. ALL refiners -- globally -- would be delighted to see Putin removed from the board -- in their industry. This way, crack spreads would explode. Critically, the Russian army can't roll without refined fuels, same as Adolf. Unlike the Nazi armies, Putin's are fuel gluttons. They need immensely more than those of eighty-years ago.
