  1. The talking-head was totally deceptive. The neutron released by fusion is the issue. Having no charge, it will fly through any and all materials, metals in particular. What ever it hits, will become radioactive... usually... so this is NOT a so-called 'clean' atomic reaction. Such 'free' neutrons unleash weapons proliferation. With fusion, there is no limit to the amount of plutonium 239 or uranium 233 that can be created. ALL of the containment materials will become radioactive -- same as now with fission. So, this announcement is nothing but an attempt at distracting the general public from current events.
