@ssassassssas About half of Ukraine's locomotives are pure electric drive. So too, are Russia's - in European Russia. Both are legacies of the Soviet era. Kyiv's Diesel bill has surely exploded UP. Zelenskyy's shortfall will be made up with gifted trucks.

This is why Stalin could detonate an absolute clone of Fat Man -- using plutonium 239 -- as his first device. The USSR did not build an equivalent of Oak Ridge to enrich uranium. It was already crystal clear that plutonium was the better atomic explosive. ( 100% purity ) McCarthy was getting his dope from the FBI who was getting the dope from the NSA.
