  2. The Russians have found it IMPOSSIBLE to press ahead. Putin has wanted to plunge south out of Izyum for WEEKS. The Russians are getting POUNDED in place -- same as the Ukrainians. It's a blood bath for both combatant nations. At Popasna, the RA is on the high ground -- which has NO COVER. M777s are chewing the Russians up. Putin won't let the boys retreat, and they can't stop the Ukrainians from firing their M777s from ideal cover -- to the west -- slotted behind high ground. M777s are also the reason the Russians can't get their pontoon bridges across the river. It has taken less than 50 M777s to totally screw up Putin's planning. (The rest are still in western Ukraine.)
