  1. Moscow already regards the Baltic fleet as a strategic joke. The Russian navy does not use the Baltic Sea for its subs -- as it is too shallow. In good conditions, you can actually see subs while flying overhead. The Gulf of Finland is so shallow that VLCCs can't transit it. (!)
