  1. The Asian rice has arsenic traces in it and much of it is still grown in waste water and occasionally in human waste in the rice paddies. I was so surprised to find out that some of the best selling rice brands sold in Asian markets in the US are actually grown and processed in California and then packaged and given Asian names and all Asian packaging, to appear that it is Asian rice. Be sure to read the labels !

  3. I just wanted to let you know I ordered the Kove Bluetooth speakers, sponsored on one of your recipes. They were fantastic ! I say were, because my son was blown away by them, and he took them home with him (ok, I actually gave them to him- very reluctantly). Thank you for the recommendation.

  4. This is my favorite kind of recipe ! I made one similar that was made with hazelnuts in place of the almonds, and had no coconut. It made a dessert lover out of my son who doesn’t eat sweets. But this one sounds so much better to me with the coconut ! Making it tonight ! My son wants a pasta machine for Christmas. Can you recommend one ?

  6. I did not see you remove the oysters off the bottom of the chicken. In my opinion, the best piece of meat on a chicken or turkey! Too bad they are so small, and you only get two on a bird! Great tip with the egg. I have never heard of doing that.

  7. On multiple occasions I have left the rice in my rice cooker overnight, and ate it the next day. I have never gotten sick.
