  2.  @engliterra355  How far back do you wanna go? Are you Hunnic? Avars? Bulgarian? Ottoman? Lithuanian? That was Ukraine and they all held the region before Russia. The rest of the eastern Slavs didn't HAVE a country until 500 years after the region of modern Ukraine had been civilized by the Huns. When was it that Rus came into existence? 880? The Mongols and the Golden Horse held the coastline for hundreds of years before the Rus. The Crimean Khanate existed and held the region for nearly 200 years before the first "Russia" or Russian Empire occupied the region in the 1780's. Russia has no claim. Take your own advice and look at a map.
